Three current Air Force swimmers are among the latest to compete on the national stage, as rising seniors Bryan Avery (Mililani, Hawaii) and Justin Day (Peyton, Colo.) and rising sophomore Benjamin Gunn (Gainesville, Ga.) are all set to participate in the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials, being held in Omaha, Neb., June 29-July 6. Three members of the Air Force men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the league Monday afternoon. Representing the men's squad were Spencer Liedl and Eric Robinson, while on the women's side, Kallyn Johnson earned MWC Scholar-Athlete recognition. [+]

Seventeen members of the Air Force men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named Academic All-Mountain West Conference selections, as announced by the league Thursday afternoon. The men's squad placed 11 individuals on the academic all-conference team, while six members of the women's team received academic All-MWC accolades. [+]
